FIRST EVER INDIAN GRAND PRIX



On October 30 the focus of the world was on India.. A nation known for his diveristy finally gave a taste of its modernisation. The first ever Indian Grand prix was underway at  the Buddh International circuit in greater Noida  24 km from Delhi.

The circuit was designed by  F1 circuit designer Herman Tilke.

The track is about  5.141 kilometres (3.194 mi),spread across an area of 875 acres. 

Its seating capacity is 200,000.

World champion Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull clinched the inaugural Indian Grand Prix.
