Puskar Festival

Puskar a tiny rugged city situated 13km away from Ajmer in Rajasthan. Well known for its INTERNATIONAL CATTLE festival, it has been holding its decorum by attracting tourists all around the World.

The International cattle festival is held annually in the month of November. The camel and cattle fare remains the  highlight of the week. Every year a large number of animals from rural India come to be traded off.

Tourists from Europe, Kenya, Korea, Israel and various other places throng the place to witness the display of Incredible India.

Puskar is famous for the world's largest camel festival. The no.of cattle that come to be traded off are more than 15000.

Puskar itself speaks of its beauty with the Sahara desert surrounded by hills on the three sides and the sandunes on the other lure in a large of tourists.

The rich culture , amazing beauty, exciting  activities and festivities during the festival offers a glimpse of the rural Rajasthan.

Visitors once visited would always like to visit again and again. The next highlight of the fare is the bridal competition for foreigners which displays an excellent combination of the alien beauty and indigenous culture.

Puskar is also a place for the devotees to participate in the ritual bath on karttik Ekadasi on the land that followers refers to that of Brahma.
